2008
January 1st, 2009
Well to sum it up I graduated college, found my first job, and traveled for my first job. That seems like a win to me. I also watched waaay too many TV shows, acquired a crackberry, saw MC Frontalot live, and ate some really great food. Some really great times were had. I know it’s cliche but I miss living at school and classes. Even with my job, my studies supplied some really great programming problems. At least I’m not missing how much I used to eat out.
It’s late and I ran out of stuff to say, this is just a small list of what I want to attempt in 09, nothing too spectacular.
And now the short list for 2009
- Use less tables and more CSS
- Travel out of the country
- Learn more anything
- Make money off the internet
- Go on a date with Natalie Portman

Regarding the short list:
1. What the hell is CSS?
2. As far as traveling out of the country, you’d better watch what you wish for. They need programmers in Afghanistan and al-Qaida may abduct you and take you there!
3. Don’t worry about learning. Life has a funny way of forcing one to learn. Sometimes we don’t appreciate the lesson.
4. Make money off the internet…..gotta see it.
5. Good luck with Natalie Portman. I’m sure she’d go out with you. It’s just that part about getting in touch with her.
Anyway, we should all have a list of short term goals and long term goals. It gives us hope and direction. We may not realize most of our goals but, hell, trying to achieve them is more than half the fun!
I say go for it!!!!!!!
